Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways projects

  • Solid health & safety leadership and compliance experience
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities concurrently

  • Leading quality control, with a strong understanding of specifications and DWI requirements
  • Providing engineering and technical support to resolve site‑based challenges and technical queries
  • Taking a proactive approach to resolving unexpected technical issues and construction challenges
  • Maintaining accurate setting out and dimensional control to ensure precise construction delivery.


What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) or equivalent experience
  • Proven site engineering experience within heavy civils, ideally in the highways industry
  • Ability to plan ahead and effectively delegate tasks within an engineering team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • CSCS card
